Palestinians: Two killed in Israeli strike in Gaza
YOUR E-MAIL ALERTSGAZA CITY (CNN) -- An Israeli missile struck a car Tuesday in Gaza City, killing two members of Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, Palestinian security sources said. Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades is the armed wing of the Fatah Party, which lost last month's Palestinian parliamentary elections to the militant group Hamas. The Israeli army said it attacked a car with Al Aqsa militants who were involved in firing Qassam rockets and mortars into Israel from Gaza. Two such rockets caused damage when they landed in Israel earlier Tuesday, the Israel Defense Forces said. On Friday, a Qassam rocket struck a home in an Israeli kibbutz, wounding a family of four, including an infant. An Israeli airstrike killed two Al Aqsa militants Monday near the Jabalya refugee camp in northern Gaza. A strike Saturday killed three militants near Gaza City. ![]()
