(CNN) -- As part of an effort to share the best practices of modern business among organizations across the globe, CNN is talking to some of the world's top executives.
In line with this, CNN will be hosting three events looking at modern strategies in today's business arena.
The first of these Master Classes was based at the China Europe International Business School in Shanghai and was aired November 10 and 11, 2007.
One of the guests at the event was Howard Schultz, CEO of the international coffee shop chain Starbucks. He took part in a live discussion where he fielded questions that you, the CNN audience, put to him.
The most recent Master Class was based at the Columbia Business School in New York, which took place February 21 and aired March 8 and 9, 2008.
The featured guest at the event was Mel Karmazin, CEO of Sirius Satellite Radio. Karmazin has a wealth of experience at the forefront of the media indsutry, having worked as president and COO of Viacom and president and CEO of CBS Corporation.
He took part in a live discussion where he fielded questions from an audience of 300 Columbia Business School students and from CNN's Andrew Stevens.
