GRANADA, Spain -- Spaniard Samuel Sanchez pipped fellow countryman Manuel Beltrain to take stage 15 in the Tour of Spain, a 201.4km run from Villacarrillo to Granada.

Sanchez won the 13th stage in last year's race.
Sanchez, riding for Euskaltel, won in four hours 45 minutes 59 seconds.
Another Spanishi rider, Carlos Barredo, was 24 seconds away in third place. third.
Russian Denis Menchov, of Rabobank, remained overall race leader, two minutes one second ahead of Vladimir Efimkin, both men crossing the line in a bunch of finishers 41seconds off the pace.
With a category climb to negotiate at Alto de Torre after 95km and a first category at Alto de Monachil 10km from the finish, Samuel, fifth overall concentrated on conserving some energy for the closing stages.
"I knew I had to keep a little back. That way you can pull out enough to make a little difference," said the rider from Oviedo, who last year won stage 13.
