LONDON, England -- Sidelined star Thierry Henry has again pledged his long term future to Arsenal after a flurry of reports suggesting he will leave the Premier League club in the close season. Henry will not turn out again for the Gunners this campaign after picking up a serious groin muscle strain in their Champions League exit to PSV Eindhoven last week. It led to speculation that the Frenchman has played his last game for Arsene Wenger's men, but Henry is having none of it. "For the umpteenth time - and I'm starting to get sick of saying the same thing every year - there is nothing, at least from my part, that will make me leave Arsenal. "I love the club and will always give my all for Arsenal. This season I've played with only half of my capacities. But I will keep on fighting for the fans, for my teammates, and for Arsene (Wenger). "I will be at Arsenal until I finish my career, as long as they want me here," Henry was quoted in Tuesday's L'Equipe newspaper. Henry, who has endured a frustrating season after playing a key role in France's run to the World Cup final last summer, admitted he was finding it hard coping with sitting around and not training or playing. "It's not easy. When you know that the season is more or less over, you give up," he said. "It's not like I have three weeks on the sidelines before coming back to competition. "If that was the case, I'd still be quite motivated. "I'm not a doctor but I can confirm that I will be sidelined for at least three months, according to what I've been told. Unfortunately, I felt it coming," said Henry, who was diagnosed with a groin muscle strain in his left leg. "That has added to my existing sciatic nerve problem, which has also been affected by this injury. "It's the first time in eight years I've had a season that's been affected so much by injury. "From now on it's simple. I have to have treatment and more treatment, get a bit of rest and let myself heal 100 percent." ![]() Arsenal have missed Henry for long periods of the 2006-07 season.
