(CNN) -- Your views and comments on the world of football.

We all know that Jose Mourinho is and has always been a very good manager. He is mainly the person behind Chelea's success today and has always motivated the players to put in their best for the club, but Roman Abramovich seems to forget where Chelsea used to be before the arrival of Mourinho to the club. Abramovich has been putting a lot of pressure on Mourinho since last season, which I feel is the main reason in Chelsea's poor performance lately. Since Morinho has left the club, I think it will take a very long time before Chelsea FC and Roman Abramovich can raise their heads high again.

Sport in no doubt today has become a big politic and Jose Mourinho leaving Chelsea is fully a democratic move. A manager is like the head of the government (Prime Minister) and in a real democracy, the president in no way can make decision without the full consent of the manager. Jose Mourinho has given a tip to Abramovich that money cannot buy the heart of all, money is not the key of life but knowledge, understanding and respect of opinion of the person in charge that counts. A good player never lacks a team and so, Mourinho will be occupied in less than no time and why not under the U.N. by going around the less privileged countries in the world and selecting those talents who do not have the chance to advertise themselves on TV.

We should have all seen Mourinho's departure from Stamford Bridge coming. With the rocky relationship he has had to endure with his billionaire boss over the past couple of months, his resignation was bound to happen sooner or later. He saddens me to see this happen because Mourinho is such a good coach with a very strong winning mentality and it is there for all to see how he has "infected" the players with this winning mentality. I guess it is his incredibly strong desire to win all the time that makes people interpret his attitude as arrogance. I can tell you that he will be surely missed and finding a coach to replace him will be difficult.

Thanks Mourinho, you tried your best. You brought Chelsea from the position of also-rans to double champions and a force to reckon with in the game. You broke records and built a solid team. Will Chelsea ever be able to get over your departure? We'll always be grateful for that. You are indeed a winner. Goodbye, my special one!

It is a national day of mourning in my household today. No, Jose Mourinho should not leave Chelsea but should fulfill his contract till it ends in 2010. He will be missed by players, fans and I believe even the media!!

To whom it may concern: I think England's Premier League is the best and most prestigious soccer league in the world. Although there are the Spanish, German and Italian leagues, the Premier League just simply outclasses them all, period. Teams such as Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal are world class teams compared to other teams such as AC Milan, Real Madrid, etc, etc. I'm sorry to those fans but it is the simple truth. Most people around the world know about the Premier League teams than any other leagues in the world i.e. Canada, Australia, Malaysia, China etc, etc. As for Chelsea's manager, he was a great coach and manager who led Chelsea to superior results during his tenure with the club. It's a pity he has to leave. I think the club's owner needs to understand the game a bit more and appreciate the manager and the players and, hold those who are the real assets to the club. The problem of having "no idea" of the game is a shame and just because "the owner" has made some lucky money, should not have the right to purchase a classic team like Chelsea. I'm not British but I have faith and confidence in the British people especially in the soccer "sphere." Their history is "priceless" and for all those old Brits who built the era should be remembered. I hope "the rich Brits" will buy the teams back and maintain them like the good old days. C'mon Brits, regain your dignity and just because of some money (hopefully it is clean,) don't let go of your patriotic teams like Chelsea and Arsenal.

I-Report

It's sad that our successful couch is finally gone. I hope Chelsea management will make a very wise decision over this issue. I loved him, he was good but all the same I have to respect his decision. I wil miss you Jose. Thanks

The Premiership is a dull place to be right now, thank you Mr Abramovich, for finally frustrating the special one. "Common Jose."

The Special One would make an excellent assistant to Rafa Benitez as his number two at Anfield.
Andy Melia, Formby

After all the success for Chelsea, Jose deserves more than is being said of him.

The exit of Jose Mourinho at this time is good for both Chelsea and Jose himself. It seems the atmoshere for success is not with him anymore at Stamford Bridge and on the other hand the club need to progress with a more positive result. We thank you coach Jose for the success you have brought to the Chelsea side. Thank you
George Osuji

Jose is more a lucky coach than a really good coach. The only thing that got him out of Chelsea is his MOUTH.

I am a strong supporter of the Blues but lately I've been wondering what was wrong. I just feel he has run out of ideas and since the season just started it's best time for him to go. I wish him well in his future endeavors.
Igiebor Aisosa, Nigeria

I am a Man Utd supporter. I believe this is going to be Man U's year. The coach Ferguson has invested wisely and has bought new and young talents like Nani, Anderson, Tevez and Hargreaves. Players like Neville, Giggs, Scholes are on their last legs and surely they will give their best as they may last two season at most. The Man U team is a heady mix of youth and experience, probably the most balanced team in the EPL at present. The team only requires one more defender and maybe an outright striker like van Nistelrooy, and if this happens this team may become unbeatable in Europe also.

Please, stop paying so much attention to David Beckham, I know in the Brazilian League at least 30 much much better players than him. We like the good football not the celebrities.
Eduardo Pereira, Sao Paulo, Brazil

I had a needed chuckle, with Liverpool being nominated the team of the week. My question is why, solely because they put out a ransom for some players, in a weak attempt to catch Man United and Chelsea? There is more to Liverpool's dilemma than on the pitch, at least, in the Premier League. Benitez will be waiting a long time to gain the title, unless he learns to play Gerrard in the right position. To boot, Benitez is a true Euro football tactician and doesn't like the English game, which is why "Pool" does well on the continent but comes up short in England. I'm no pundit but that's the way I see it.

I think that Turkey's biggest team is Besiktas because Besiktas is a very good team in Turkey. Besiktas have the biggest players (for example Ricardinho, Rustu, Matias Delgado). This season Bediktas transfered very good players and I think it will be continue...Besiktas have very good supporters like me :) This season they will be No. 1 in Turkish Super League.

I'm actually bemused by Henry's move to Barca. What was all that hype about "completing my contract at the Emirates?" Is there any integrity in football? Contracts? The consolation for Gunners is that they played most games last season without Henry. In fact, they beat all the big guns without him except only one game where he featured. So, adios traitor!!!!
Temba; Chingola, Zambia

My favourite team is Fenerbahce because Fenerbahce is champion in Turkish league.
Kadir Deligoz, Erzurum, Turkey

The departure of Thierry has put a dent in the Gunners vehicle. A big dent at that, too. You see, when Henry left Arsenal, he took with him a vast experience with him. And one thing Arsenal don't have, is experience. Freddie is there but how many times does he get a start from Wenger. Gilberto as well would need to play captain all year long. Another thing Henry took with him was the respect he commanded on all these young players. Fabregas, Hoyt, Walcott, all looked up to him and now they see a person, who used to say that we can do it with a young side and all the other stuff, just give up and leave. After seeing all that and with Wenger reluctant to sign a new contract, I don't know how long the "future of Arsenal" players like Fabregas and Walcott will stay at the Emirates.
Mustafa Ahmed, U.S.

Of course the best club of Turkiye, Fenerbahce, will rock Europe this year, with its 1st quality players, Alex de Souza, Stephan Appiah, Mateja Kezman and Roberto Carlos. Fenerbahce rulez.
