GLASGOW, Scotland -- Striker Kenny Miller dealt Scotland a blow on Tuesday when he was ruled out of their forthcoming Euro 2008 qualifiers because of a hamstring injury.

Former Celtic striker Miller is tackled by Ferguson who is also ruled out of Scotland's game against Lithuania.
The 27-year-old former Celtic striker suffered the injury prior to his transfer to signing a three-year deal with English Premiership strugglers Derby County on Friday.
He will miss Saturday's clash against Lithuania in Glasgow as well as next week's critical encounter against France in Paris.
Miller was not guaranteed a starting slot after falling behind Birmingham's Garry O'Connor in the international pecking order.
Scotland will be without skipper Barry Ferguson against Lithuania as the Rangers midfielder is suspended following the yellow card he received in the 2-0 win over the Faroe Islands in June. E-mail to a friend ![]()
