BELGRADE, Serbia (AP) -- Serbian police raided Red Star Belgrade's headquarters Friday as part of an investigation into alleged corruption and organized crime links involving club officials.

A Serbian plain clothes policeman, right, attempts to arrest a fan after being attacked when trying to film rioting fans.

Tanjug news agency said several club officials were detained, while state TV said Red Star administrator Zoran Damjanovic was arrested.

The reports could not be immediately confirmed, and the police refused to comment.

The police move came after riots last weekend during a league match at Red Star's stadium, when Belgrade fans attacked a plainclothes policeman trying to film them in the stands.

The policeman, who was injured, fired shots in the air to keep the attackers at bay. Several fans were arrested, including one charged with attempted manslaughter. E-mail to a friend E-mail to a friend
