TOYOTA, Japan -- Urawa Red Diamonds repeated their 3-1 aggregate victory over Sepahan in the recent AFC Champions League final, by defeating the Iranian side by the same score to reach the last four of the World Club Cup.

Washington celebrates scoring his goal to help Urawa Red Diamonds to a 3-1 victory over Sepahan.

The J-League outfit -- roared on by a partisan home crowd -- will now face AC Milan on Thursday for a place in the final after a convincing display against their Asian rivals.

The opening goal came in the 32nd minute when midfielder Takahito Soma crossed from the left for Yuichiro Nagai to fire home from close range.

They made it 2-0 in the 54th minute when Brazilian striker Washington rounded Sepahan goalkeeper Mohammad Savari befofe scoring from an acute angle.

The game was put well beyond doubt in the 70th minute when Sepahan defender Aghily's headed into his own net.
