LONDON, England -- Tiger Woods stretched his commanding lead at the top of the world rankings on Monday after his win at the Wachovia Championship. The 31-year-old American, who finished with a 13-under total of 275 in Charlotte, North Carolina on Sunday, is now 13.16 average points ahead of second-placed Jim Furyk. Furyk has a narrow lead of 0.01 points over Phil Mickelson after the left-hander shared third position behind Woods at Quail Hollow. Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano climbed 86 places to 117th after his playoff victory over Austrian Markus Brier at the Italian Open.
