What technology gadgets do the experts love, or would love to have? CNN.com is asking experts in several fields about their favorite high-tech toys. This week, we asked Food & Wine magazine executive wine editor Lettie Teague. (CNN) -- For ten years, Food & Wine magazine executive wine editor Lettie Teague has been tasting and writing about wines. In her new book titled "Educating Peter," she teaches her good friend and wine neophyte Peter Travers a few wine fundamentals --for example, how to order off a restaurant wine list without fear. "As a rule I'm not a big fan of gadgetry -- wine or otherwise. My corkscrew, for example, is the conventional waiter's kind," Teague said. "But there are a few recent inventions that even I have to concede I'd be happy to have -- or perhaps due to some of their prices -- to be given, instead," she said. Teague shared with us her favorite wine-related gadgets: This pen thermometer actually registers the temperature of a bottle instantly -- telling the would-be drinker if it's too warm, too cold or just right. 2. Taylor's #1458/Digital Temp Wireless Indoor/Outdoor with Humidity and Remote Sensor It's a battery-powered wireless device that can monitor both the temperature outside and inside a wine cellar. It's a real bargain at $28. 3. ICC -- Impact Case and Container This aluminum-sided 12-bottle case is incredibly sturdy and admittedly incredibly bulky, but it shows you're definitely serious about getting your bottles home unbroken. Alas, it's not cheap ($400) so I'm hoping someone might want to buy it for me. You've seen what one expert loves. What technology do you crave? Send us photos of yourself with your favorite gadget.
