LONDON, England (CNN) -- This month on CNN Business Traveller, we're looking at making your travels more bearable, from the world's best cities for work-life balance to what to eat to temper jet lag. It is mind, body and soul this month.

Is Zurich the world's best city to live in?

September's show touches down in Zurich, Switzerland, the number one ranked city in the world for quality of living, according to Mercer Consulting. So what does Zurich have that pushes it to the top of the charts? CNN's Richard Quest catches up with expat James Maughan of UBS for an insider's guide to the city and its surrounds.

He will also check out what it is that makes a city business-traveler friendly. Finding time to exercise on the road is a major frustration of healthy travelers. It is one thing to live in a pleasant environment where you can jog, swim and rollerblade but what about the rest of us who commute from airports to hotels to meeting rooms? We take a look at the some of the world's best hotel gyms to help inspire you to exercise when you're on the move.

Another casualty of fast-paced, long-haul travel is appetite. If you're traveling regularly, the chances are you left your stomach a few time zones behind you. With the help of a leading nutritionist, we'll show you which foods to look for when you're on the road and how to regulate your diet to help get your body in sync.

On the subject of healthy eating, the Mediterranean diet has long been admired, largely because of its liberal use of olive oil. Richard Quest travels to the castle of Lorenzo Fasola in Perugia, Umbria Italy. Lorenzo is responsible for those little bottles of olive oil that come with in-flight meals. On the slopes beneath his home, he grows the thousands of vines needed to supply the world's in-flight caterers.

After Italy it is back to Switzerland. Zurich may have top honors but beautiful lakeside Geneva comes second in Mercer's list of the world's most livable cities. Richard samples the best the city has to offer, from sunrise to sunset, from a cable car up Mount Saleve to a dip in Lake Geneva.

That's all this month on CNN Business Traveller
