(CNN) -- Here is a selection of recent comments from CNN.com users about news coverage and other issues related to the site. If you have something to say about CNN.com, please e-mail us.

Christopher of Chicago, Illinois
I agree with your broadcasting of the images and video of [Seung-Hui] Cho [Chilling video of a killer, April 18]. However, the image on your Web site with Cho pointing a gun directly at the camera and thusly directly at the reader is plain wrong. It is insensitive and I imagine well known among your editorial staff that it is a mistake. A bad choice. Remove it. There are many other images you could use. It is antagonistic and threatening. Why would you want to use it? Obviously the story has reached a point in which you are moving into exploitation. Get back to covering Iraq.

CNN.com: Thank you, Christopher. Out of sensitivity to the families and victims of the Virginia Tech shootings, CNN.com editors decided to cut back on using images of Cho holding weapons on new story and section pages on the site.

Fred Fox of Saint Petersburg, Florida
Thank you very much for the way in which you are honoring the victims of the VA Tech shootings. [In their honor, April 19]

The media can use its bully pulpit at a later time to help assess and even critique the actions that led up to the shootings. These actions do have value. But the immediate aftermath is the only time that the media can use its loud voice to appropriately honor the innocent victims and their families.

I'm heartwarmed by your choice to use CNN.com for this purpose. You are setting an excellent example for the direction of the media in future tragedies of all types. Making your first priority to honor the innocent victims is a gift to the society you serve. You have set an uplifting example for both other media institutions as well as all people in general. Kudos to whichever staff member had the presence of mind to be so thoughtful in the midst of such pain.

CNN.com: Many thanks, Fred.

Brian Johnson of Carlisle, Pennsylvania
The current Quick Vote question on the main CNN.com page [Do you agree with John McCain that it would be in the president's best interests if Attorney General Alberto Gonzales resigned, April 25] is a bad question, mainly because you connected the real question, about Gonzales resigning, to John McCain. I think Gonzales should resign, but I don't think that way because John McCain thinks so. And I don't care if Gonzales' potential resignation would hurt or help the president. It's a bad question. I wish whoever writes these would think about how the readers of CNN.com would perceive the question before they write it.

CNN.com: Thanks, Brian. We get quite a bit of feedback on our daily QuickVote questions, a lot of it focused on the limitations of multiple choice answers for complex issues in the news. Next time you come across a question you have more to say about, join the conversation on our new QuickVote QuickThoughts blog, a place we've set up to continue the discussion the QuickVote questions generate.

Amy Looney of Abingdon, Virginia
The College of William and Mary is in Williamsburg, not outside Washington, D.C. [Queen's visit, May 4]

CNN.com: Thanks, Amy. We've fixed the caption on our map.
