In southwestern Pakistan's Balouchistan province, 24 people died and 25 were wounded Thursday when a bomb exploded near a bus stop in Hub, according to police.

Authorities said the attack targeted Chinese engineers who were passing by at the time of the blast.

In Pakistan's North West Frontier Province, a suicide bomber rammed an explosives-packed car into the gates of a police training center in Hangu Thursday, killing at least eight people and wounding 22 others, a police official said.
