(CNN) -- True or false: The U.S produces 80% of the world's solar-powered hot water.
The answer is: FALSE
It is actually China which can claim this fact -- it produces around 80 million cubic meters of solar hot water a year, taking 80% of the global market share. Solar-powered hot water is taking off to such an extent in China that now, around 1 in 10 househoulds have solar heaters.
