(CNN) -- CNN International turns the spotlight on Russia, with a week of special programming beginning June 25. This unprecedented week of programming focuses on such diverse topics as the rise of Russia's youth; business developments and the increase in Russian billionaires; the renaissance of Soviet culture and what the future of the nation holds for its citizens. This extraordinary country has long been an enigma for many. CNN attempts to unravel some of the inscrutability surrounding Russia and her people. Throughout the week CNN news anchor Jim Clancy will be live every day with a special half-hour program hosted in different locations around Russia's two major cities, coming from such varied locations as Red Square in Moscow and The Hermitage in St Petersburg. CNN correspondents and reporters have also travelled the length and breadth of Russia to film a series of specially-commissioned packages. Reports from Matthew Chance, CNN's Senior International Correspondent based in Moscow, Jill Dougherty, CNN's former Moscow bureau chief, and anchors and correspondents Jim Clancy and Ralitsa Vassileva will air in the special live programs and throughout the day on CNN's regular news programs. These reports cover a wide range of topics including business, culture, wealth, human rights, youth groups and Russia's Far Eastern coast. The shows are titled: Look out for more "Eye on Russia" reports in CNN shows, including Business International, World News Europe, World News Asia, CNN Today and Your World Today. RESURGENT RUSSIA (LIVE FROM MOSCOW) -- Monday In a broadcast from Red Square, the first installment of the week's programming takes a detailed look at the country's recent return to prosperity, and the gulf that is emerging between Russia's rich and poor. Jim Clancy gives an overview of the rise in economic fortunes of modern Russia, and what the country is like for the people who live there. Watch Ralitsa Vassileva's report on the changing face of Russia's traditional Bolshoi Ballet, and the movement to overhaul the world-renowned company. While Moscow experiences an economic boom, industrial towns in the Arctic north of Russia are being left behind. Matthew Chance visits Vorkuta to see how one such community is coping. Watch representatives of the up-and-coming youth of Russia sit down and discuss the issues that face the coutnry's young people, in a debate led by CNN's Jim Clancy. Matthew Chance looks at Russia's passion for tennis, and goes to one of the country's tennis schools that keep a constant stream of rising stars coming out of the former Svoiet state. Jill Dougherty takes a look at Russia's economy which, after an increased amount of consumer spending, is seeing a period of buoyancy. Jim Clancy talks to Aluminum magnate Oleg Deripaska, a good friend of President Putin and, reportedly, Russia's richest man. Victor Bogorad is one of Russia's most respected polital cartoonists, and he talks to Jim Clancy about where the country is headed over next few years. The future of Russia's Far East territory could depend on its influential neighbor. CNN's Matthew Chance reports. CNN's Jim Clancy speaks to Valentina Matvienko, the governor of one of Russia's biggest cities, St Petersburg, and a leading contender to succeed Valdimir Putin as Russian premier, to find out what she thinks the future holds for the country. In the middle of Russia's heartland lies Tatarstan, a region which is seeing an Islamic resurgence. Matthew Chance reports from Kazan, the Tatar capital.
