BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- At least 12 people were killed and 35 wounded in attacks around Baghdad Monday morning, according to an official with the Iraqi Interior Ministry.

Two roadside bombs exploded minutes apart near a crowded bus station in central Baghdad at about 8:30 a.m. Monday, the official said. Four people, including one police officer, died, and 21 others were wounded, the official said.
Four people, including two police officers and two Iraqi soldiers, were killed when gunmen attacked an Iraqi police and army checkpoint in northeastern Baghdad's Sunni Adhamiya neighborhood at 5 a.m. Monday, the official said. Two police officers were wounded, he said.
A car bomb exploded in Baghdad's central Karrada district, killing four and injuring 12 civilians, the official said.

On Saturday, a truck bomb killed 150 people in a village in Salaheddin province, about 100 miles north of Baghdad.
Attacks Sunday left 27 people dead, including 15 who were killed when when a bomb hit a truck carrying Iraqi army recruits west of Baghdad. The other 12 were killed in bombings in Baghdad.
Also Monday, police found the bodies of 12 bottling company employees, part of a larger group kidnapped on Sunday, the Interior Ministry official said. It is unclear what happened to the other nine employees who were seized from a Pepsi-Cola bottling and distribution plant in Zafaraniya, a suburb southeast of Baghdad.
Meanwhile, Iraq's foreign minister said Monday that Turkey has massed 140,000 along its border with Iraq in its confrontation with Kurdish separatists operating along the border.
Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari said Iraq would not tolerate any infringement of its sovereignty by Turkish forces, and that the problem should be resolved by an existing security committee on which Iraq, Turkey and the United States are represented.
Turkey has restricted its recent military activities to shelling Kurdish Workers' Party targets inside northern Iraq and small raids close to the border. More than 60 Turkish soldiers have been killed by the PKK inside Turkey this year. E-mail to a friend
