(CNN) -- New Zealand are heading for a crushing victory over Bangadesh in the second Test in Wellington after taking total command on the second day.

New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori leads his side off at the end of a fine second day for his team.
Bangladesh are 51 for five wickets in their second innings, still trailing by 199 runs.
Kyle Mills had taken two for 15 while Chris Martin, Jacob Oram and Ian O'Brien had all taken a wicket each.
Habibul Bashar was 21 not out for Bangladesh at close while Shakib Al Hasan unbeaten on four.
Earlier, New Zealand scored 393 in their first innings in reply to Bangladesh's first innings knock of 143.
Having resumed overnight on 134 for three, New Zealand soon went past Bangladesh's disappointing first innings total despite losing the wickets of Matthew Sinclair (47) and Jacob Oram (1) before lunch.
Stephen Fleming was dismissed early in the second session before Brendon McCullum fell eight short of reaching his half-century.
Fleming had reached lunch on 86 and had his century in sight, however he picked up only one further run before he was dismissed when he lofted a Shakib Al Hasan delivery into the hands of Aftab Ahmed at deep mid-wicket.
McCullum steadily contributed as New Zealand continued to increase their lead but was dismissed for 42 from Shahadat Hossain's delivery with the hosts on 325. Mills was then bowled out for four when he got a thin inside edge and the ball goes through off and middle stumps.
New Zealand captain and left-arm spinner Daniel Vettori showed his batting prowess with some powerful hitting but was dismissed six shy of his century when he scooped Aftab Ahmed's delivery straight back to the bowler.
The hosts' innings came to an end when Ian O'Brien was bowled out by Aftab Ahmed for four. New Zealand won the first Test to take a 1-0 lead in the series.
In other cricket news on Sunday, Pakistan have left out pacemen Shoaib Akhtar and Umar Gul, and all-rounder Shahid Afridi from the initial squad for the one-day series against Zimbabwe.
Akhtar and Gul suffered fitness problems on Pakistan's tour of India last month while Afridi was unimpressive in the one-day series. E-mail to a friend ![]()
