LONDON, England (CNN) -- Formula One loves nothing more than a celebrity love-in, and every season Monaco continues to deliver the most glamorous show on the circuit.

Film star Jude Law and Lewis Hamilton basked in their collective celebrity glow at last year's grand prix.

F1's canny supremo Bernie Ecclestone has long cultivated the sport's connection with film, music and fashion industry stars, realizing they are very good for the sport's elite brand.

Monaco's stunning location, tax haven status, the presence of royalty and reputation for a party cause a virtual star stampede in the paddock.

Naomi Campbell is a regular, as is U2 frontman Bono, and Jude Law and McLaren's Lewis Hamilton helped brighten each other's celebrity glow by being pictured together last year.

This Friday night the drivers themselves are taking to the catwalk to help raise funds for Elton John's Aids Foundation.

Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg, Jenson Button, Nelson Piquet, Vitantonio Liuzzi, Mark Webber, David Coulthard and Adrian Sutil will all grace the catwalk in designs by Ecclestone's daughter, Petra.

The publicity says "several world-famous" supermodels are also scheduled to appear before an auction which will see a week on Force India owner Vijay Mallya's 95 meter yacht and a piano used by John and signed by 17 other musicians on the block.

At only $13,500 for a table of eight to attend it is practically a bargain.
