(CNN) -- Top seed Nikolay Davydenko clinched the Poertschach claycourt title for the third time on Saturday beating Argentina's Juan Monaco 6-2 2-6 6-2 in the final.

Davydenko warmed up for the French Open by claiming the Poertschach title for the third time.
Davydenko, who will be seeded fourth at the French Open which starts in Paris on Sunday, took the first set after breaking serve in the opening game.
But second seed Monaco, the world number 14, asserted his authority in the second set forcing the Russian into a series of errors with his powerful forehand to level the match.
However, Monaco, the defending champion, was unable to keep up his advantage and Davydenko enjoyed a crucial break in the third game on his way to wrapping up his second title of 2008 to add to his Miami Masters victory.
France's Gilles Simon has won the Casablanca ATP tournament after a 7-5 6-2 victory over compatriot Julien Benneteau, before quickly flying back to Paris for the French Open.
Simon and Benneteau took the same plane home back to Paris a day before the tournament at Roland Garros starts. The 35th world-ranked Simon made the most of unforced errors from Benneteau in the second set to claim victory.
Simon, who entered the tournament too late to be seeded and had to play in the qualifying rounds, was better technically and physically throughout the match.
Meanwhile, Polish second seed Agnieszka Radwanska warmed up for the French Open by beating top seed and defending champion Elena Dementieva 6-3 6-2 to win the final of the Istanbul tournament.
The 19-year-old, ranked 15th in the world, had a shaky start and lost the first two games, but broke Dementieva's serve in the third game to surge through and dominate the match.
The Pole kept up her solid game in the second set, stealing points with well-placed drop shots while the 26-year-old Dementieva fell prey to a string of unexpected double faults.
A demoralised Dementieva opted for a more offensive approach, but failed to break Radwanska's serve, allowing her to clinch the second set 6-2 and win the tournament, her third career singles title.
Anabel Medina Garrigues rallied to defend her Strasbourg International title on Saturday, beating Katarina Srebotnik 4-6 7-6 6-0 to win the clay-court tournament for the third time.
The sixth-seeded Spaniard overcame a slow start, beating the fifth-seeded Slovenian after the match was interrupted by rain halfway through. Medina Garrigues faced eight break points in the first set, and Srebotnik broke her twice to take early control.
Both players lost serve three times in the second, but Medina Garrigues held her nerve in the tiebreaker.
She then totally dominated the decider with Srebotnik winning only 33 percent of first-serve points and breaking three straight times.
Medina Garrigues, who also won here in 2005, has eight career titles. It was her first since winning in Strasbourg last year.
