LONDON, England -- Barcelona striker Thierry Henry has dismissed rumors of an early return to England after a disappointing first season with the Catalan giants.

Henry has shown Barca fans only occasional glimpses of his true quality.
The French international star admits that his form has been affected due to being apart from his daughter following his divorce last year.
This led to reports in the Spanish and British media that Manchester City were preparing a bid to bring him back the the Premier League.
But speaking in Barcelona daily Sport on Tuesday, Henry simply said a return to England "is not a possibility"
The 30-year-old, who transferred from Arsenal in the close season, instead wants to concentrate on the rest of the season.
"Before I was playing with an injury and it wasn't easy. I don't know if it was the best thing to do but I wanted to play.
"Now I'm playing without pain, but there are always some problems," he said.
"We're in the quarterfinal of the Champions League, a step away from the Copa del Rey final and in a good place in the league, although it could be better.
"It's certainly nothing to be crying about." E-mail to a friend ![]()
