(CNN) -- Chelsea's England international left back Ashley Cole is fit to play in the Champions League final against Manchester United in Moscow, despite suffering a last-minute injury scare.

Cole has his ankle strapped after his collision with Chelsea teammate Makelele.
Cole was training in the Luzhniki Stadium when he sustained a painful blow to his right ankle after a challenge from midfielder Claude Makelele.
He was surrounded by anxious teammates as he received treatment, having his ankle sprayed and then strapped up.
However, the injury has proved not as bad as first feared and Cole takes his place in a full-strength Chelsea side.
John Terry captains the side despite dislocating his elbow on the final day of the Premier League season against Bolton.
Manager Avram Grant made one change from that side with Ricardo Carvalho shaking off a back injury and replacing Alex.
United, who are looking to complete the glorious double of Premier League and Champions League at the Luzhniki Stadium also make one change.
Manager Sir Alex Ferguson has chosen England midfielder Owen Hargreaves ahead of Ji-Sung Park.
Meanwhile, Ryan Giggs, who could break Bobby Charlton's United appearance record in tonight's match, was named on the substitutes' bench.
Champions League line-ups:
Manchester United: Van der Sar, Brown, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Carrick, Hargreaves, Scholes, Ronaldo, Rooney, Tevez. Substitutes: Kuszczak, Giggs, Anderson, Nani, O'Shea, Fletcher, Silvestre.
