ISTANBUL, Turkey (AP) -- Spain striker Dani Guiza followed former national team coach Luis Aragones on Tuesday and signed for Turkish club Fenerbahce.

Spain striker Dani Guiza, top scorer in the Primera Liga last season, signs a four-year deal with Fenerbahce.
The 27-year-old forward, who was the leading scorer in last season's Spanish Primera Liga with 27 goals, left Mallorca after agreeing a four-year contract.
Guiza was linked with the likes of Barcelona before the European Championship, which Spain won, but Fenerbahce have paid a reported euro17 million ($26.9 million) to sign him.
"I really hope our fans will like me and the way I play and score. It is a pleasure to be here in Istanbul, joining such a great team," Guiza said. "My only wish is to meet your expectations. I promise not to let our fans down."
Guiza was part of the Spain squad that won the European Championship, scoring his first international goal in the win against Greece and adding another in the semifinal against Russia.
Aragones left after the 1-0 final victory over Germany, which brought Spain their first international title for 44 years, and signed a two-year contract at Fenerbahce last week.
Guiza was scheduled to fly to Austria later Tuesday to join the rest of the team in training.
