(CNN) -- Spain coach Vicente del Bosque has recalled Fernando Torres in place of Barcelona's Bojan Krkic in a 21-man squad for this month's World Cup qualifiers against Estonia and Belgium.

Star striker Fernando Torres is back in the Spain squad for this month's World Cup qualifiers.

Del Bosque opted to leave out Bojan, who made his debut against Armenia last month, with the 18-year-old rejoining the under-21 squad to make way for Liverpool striker Torres, who was injured for last month's opening two Group Five matches.

The squad, which is little changed from the one that won Euro 2008, is due to gather in Madrid for their first training session next Tuesday before the match in Tallinn on October 11 before playing in Belgium four days later.

Spain, unbeaten in 25 matches after wins against Bosnia and Armenia last month, lead their group with six points, two ahead of Turkey and Belgium.

Raul Albiol has also been recalled despite the defender suffering a slight injury during Valencia's win against Portugal's Maritimo in the UEFA Cup this week.

Spain squad:

Goalkeepers: Iker Casillas (Real Madrid), Jose Reina (Liverpool).

Defenders: Raul Albiol (Valencia), Alvaro Arbeloa (Liverpool), Joan Capdevila (Villarreal), Juanito (Real Betis), Carlos Marchena (Valencia), Fernando Navarro (Sevilla), Carles Puyol (Barcelona), Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid).

Midfielders: Xabi Alonso (Liverpool), Diego Capel (Sevilla), Santiago Cazorla (Villarreal), Marcos Senna (Villarreal), Cesc Fabregas (Arsenal), Xavi Hernandez (Barcelona), Andres Iniesta (Barcelona), Andoni Iraola (Athletic Bilbao).

Strikers: Fernando Torres (Liverpool), David Villa (Valencia), Daniel Guiza (Fenerbahce).

Meanwhile, Portugal coach Carlos Queiroz has called up Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo and Inter Milan midfielder Ricardo Quaresma for the World Cup qualifiers against Sweden and Albania.

Ronaldo has only recently recovered from an ankle operation and will return to his national squad for the first time since Euro 2008.

Queiroz has also called up Chelsea playmaker Deco, despite him being sidelined by his club Chelsea after picking up an injury during the warm-up to the 1-1 draw with Manchester United nearly two weeks ago.

Among the new faces to Queiroz's 23-man squad is Sporting Lisbon defender Tonel, who comes in for injured Chelsea defender Ricardo Carvalho.

Also missing are Atletico Madrid's Simao Sabrosa and Pedro Mendes of Rangers. Both midfielders played against Malta and Denmark in August.
