(CNN) -- Tottenham continued their revival under new manager Harry Redknapp as Ledley King scored his first goal for three years and Jamie O'Hara added a second in a 2-0 Premier League win at London rivals West Ham.

Ledley King (right) celebrates his goal with Luka Modric as Tottenham won 2-0 at West Ham.

King, whose last goal came in December 2005 in a 3-1 win over Portsmouth, met a cross from Aaron Lennon and powered his downward header past goalkeeper Robert Green.

Spurs then wrapped up victory in the final minute with a superb long-range strike from substitute Jamie O'Hara.

The result takes Spurs above West Ham in the Premier League table on goal difference -- and three points clear of the drop zone.

Tottenham's win ended Green's run of three successive clean sheets but ensured another successful return to Upton Park for Redknapp, who was West Ham manager between 1994 and 2001 and has never lost on his old stamping ground as a visiting manager.

Both sides had chances in an even first half with Tottenham going closest when Roman Pavlyuchenko stretched to meet a low cross from Lennon at the far post but could only push the ball onto the post.

Lennon was causing the home defense no end of problems and it was no surprise when he engineered the opening goal in the 68th minute.

The in-form England winger sent in a delightful cross from the right and captain King rose highest to power a downward header past Green's despairing dive.

West Zola piled forward in search of an equalizer and substitute David di Michele was twice denied by desperate Spurs defending.

In the final minute, the Italian striker thought he had scored but under-fire Spurs goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes somehow produced a point-blank save after the ball had ping-ponged around the penalty area.

With West Ham fans still shaking their heads at the near-miss, Tottenham promptly broke away and O'Hara made the points safe with a stunning strike.
