(CNN) -- Three of Arsenal's highly-rated young players have left the club on loan to gain futher experience, after all recently signed new long-terms contracts with the Premier League giants.

Highly-rated Arsenal striker Simpson will spend the rest of the season on loan at West Bromwich Albion.
Striker Jay Simpson, midfielder Nacer Barazite and defender Gavin Hoyte have moved away for the rest of the season -- reports the club's official Web site Arsenal.com.
Simpson will remain in the Premier League after signing for strugglers West Bromwich Albion for the second half of the season.
The 20-year-old spent the majority of last season on loan with lower-league side Millwall, where he scored six goals and earned the accolade of the Division One Player of the Year.
He also appeared in three of Arsenal's Carling Cup matches this season, scoring twice in the 3-0 victory over Wigan.

Meanwhile, 18-year-old right-back Hoyte will join Championship strugglers Watford for the rest of the season.
Reserve team captain Hoyte, who has been with the club since the age of nine, has also appeared in three Carling Cup matches this season and made his Premier League debut at Manchester City in November.
Dutchman Barazite, 18, has extended his loan stay with Championship side Derby for the remainder of the season. Barazite originally joined Derby on loan in August until the end of 2008, but that arrangement has now been extended.
Barazite has already made 19 Championship appearances for Derby this season and currently leads their assists tally.
