ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates -- Germany's Martin Kaymer is one round away from landing his maiden European Tour title after maintaining a six-stroke lead at the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship.

Kaymer continued to strike the ball beautifully in Abu Dhabi.
Rookie of the Year Kaymer kept up the relentless pressure with a bogey-free four-under-par 68 to move to 17-under overall.
England's Anthony Wall heads the chasing pack at 11 under after blitzing a flawless 65, the joint-second best round of the day alongside Ryder Cup star Lee Westwood.
Henrik Stenson, the Dubai Desert Classic champion and 2006 Qatar Masters winner, is a further shot adrift after a third-round 69, level with Westwood at nine under.
The 23-year-old Kaymer, after rounds of 66 and 65, stormed out of the blocks at the Abu Dhabi Golf Club and reeled off back-to-back birdies to extend his cushion over playing partner Stenson to seven.
But Kaymer could only add two more birdies on the back nine, including a four at the last despite finding the greenside bunker with his second shot, and knows he is edging closer to a maiden main tour win after his two victories on the second-tier Challenge Tour in 2006.
"I will just continue to stick to my game plan tomorrow and see what happens. I didn't have a single bogey which was good, I have only had two all week which is great," said Kaymer, who has recently been receiving coaching from Stenson's caddie Fanny Suneson.
England's Luke Donald showed better form to move to five under after a bogey-free 67 and he sits a shot clear of Colin Montgomerie.
Veteran Scot Montgomerie is currently 19th but has targeted a top-10 finish this week to break back into the world's top 50 in order to be able to secure his place at April's Masters. E-mail to a friend ![]()
