(CNN) -- Angela Park impressed with her putter to move into a one-stroke lead after the second round of the U.S. Women's Open at Interlachen Country Club.

Teenager Park carded a five-under-par round of 67 to lead the U.S. Open by one stroke.
The 19-year-old Brazilian carded a 67 for a six-under-par 140 halfway total to lie ahead of Finn Minea Blomqvist and Korean Inbee Park, with American Paula Creamer and Korean Jeong Jang two strokes behind.
"Every putt I hit out there was flawless and I read the greens really well," said Park, who tied for second place at last year's event.
"Knowing it's the most prestigious event in women's golf gives me a lot of confidence and makes me want to focus a little more than regular events -- and I think that's what makes me play as well as I do.
"Having a good finish last year gives me that reminder that I can do well. It doesn't matter how inconsistent I've been throughout the year, because I know what I'm capable of."
Annika Sorenstam played her way within five shots of the lead thanks to a round of 70 which could have been better had she not missed a four-foot birdie chance at the last. However, joint first round leader Pat Hurst shot a miserable 78 to plummet five shots off the pace.
The second round was delayed for over two hours because of lightning and rain, forcing 36 golfers to complete their rounds on Saturday morning.
