WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Two planes clipped wings Sunday at Dulles International Airport outside Washington in an accident that resulted in no injuries, an official said.

The incident occurred at around 6 p.m. and involved Shuttle America's Flight No. 7681, an Embraer 170 jet en route from Dulles to Dallas-Forth Worth International Airport as a United Express flight, said Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Laura Brown.

The Embraer's right wing tip hit the left wing tip of United Airlines Flight No. 783, an Airbus 319 en route from Dulles to Albuquerque International Sunport Airport, she said.

United spokesman Jeff Kovick said 66 people were on board the Embraer, and 92 aboard the Airbus. He said crews were working to determine whether either aircraft had been damaged Sunday night.

"Safety is our No. 1 priority," Kovick said. "We will assist in the investigation into this incident, and we are working on getting our customers to their destinations safely and as quickly as possible."

Both planes were on a taxiway at Dulles heading to Runway 19 Left, Brown said.
