LIMA, Peru (AP) -- Bus company authorities say 22 people have been killed in the crash of two buses north of Peru's capital.
Soyuz company marketing chief Martin Gibbons told local TV station Canal N on Monday that one of his country's buses collided with a bus from another company near the town of Pasamayo on Sunday evening.
The cause of the crash is unclear.
But police say the Soyuz driver may have tried to pass another vehicle and failed to notice that the Transportes Caplina bus was heading toward him.
