BEIJING, China (CNN) -- At least 18 miners have been killed in a mine collapse in northwestern China, state-run media reported Wednesday.
Ten miners have been recovered alive, according to the Xinhua news agency.
The incident took place in Shaanxi province at the state-owned Huisen Liangshuijing Coal Mine, about 375 miles (600 km) north of the provincial capital, Xi'an, the news agency reported.
