The story

The third of Pakistan's four provincial assemblies passed a resolution Wednesday calling for Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf to step down or face impeachment.

Wednesday's action by the provincial assembly in Sindh leaves just Balochistan lawmakers to vote on a similar resolution. They have indicated that they will do so before the week's end.

The vote in the Sindh assembly did not garner the overwhelming numbers as those in the Punjab and North West Frontier Province assemblies earlier in the week. Read full article »
