JAKARTA, Indonesia (CNN) -- A suspected bomb detonated Sunday night near an international airport in eastern Indonesia, causing no injuries, a national police spokesman said.
The explosion happened around 10:15 p.m. (9:15 a.m. ET) at a small electrical hub about a kilometer (0.6 mile) from Moses Kilangin International Airport in Timika, West Papua, spokesman Abubakar Nataprawira told CNN. Anti-terrorism teams and a bomb squad were immediately dispatched to the scene, he said.
The blast slightly damaged the hub's cover, but caused no casualties.
Indonesian authorities are still investigating who was behind two explosions in Papua last week that detonated on a highway leading to a gold and copper concession area run by PT Freeport Indonesia, a unit of U.S. mining giant Freeport McMoRan, according to the Jakarta Post.
No fatalities or major damage were reported in Thursday's blasts.
