(CNN) -- A Lebanon-born Danish citizen turned himself in to police Thursday in the shooting of two Israeli citizens in the town of Odense, police spokesman John Jacobsen said.
The two Israelis received minor wounds in the shooting Wednesday at an Odense shopping mall. One was shot in the hand and the other in the leg, police said.
Jacobsen said the 27-year-old man appeared at a police station in Odense at 5 a.m. and later made a brief court appearance. He will be held for four weeks during the investigation, Jacobsen said, after which he will again appear in court for a determination of whether he can be held longer.
Jacobsen said no other information was available because the investigation is ongoing.
Odense is located on the Danish island of Fyn.
