(CNN) -- Cameron White's hit his maiden one-day international century to help Australia cruise to a six-wicket victory over England at the Rose Bowl and take a 3-0 lead in the seven-match series.

Australia were set 229 for victory after Ryan Sidebottom (24) and Tim Bresnan (31 not out) helped England crawl to 228 for nine, with medium-pacer Shane Watson taking three wickets for 36 runs as England's batsmen struggled.
England skipper Andrew Strauss, who made 63, and Middlesex teammate Eoin Morgan (43) were the only players who managed to score more than Bresnan.
England made early inroads into Australia's reply when Watson was lbw for seven to James Anderson but White looked in commanding form and followed up his previous best of 53 in Friday's series-opening four-run win at the Oval with 105.
White made a 116-ball century with a six and nine fours and together with stand-in skipper Michael Clarke (52), he shared a stand of 143 after Australia had been 52 for two.
England spurned three excellent run-out opportunities during their stand before Clarke, a delivery after he made a 90-ball half-century, was bowled by off-spinner Graeme Swann.
White was eventually out when he hit Luke Wright to Sidebottom at mid-off with Australia needing nine runs off 16 balls for victory but Callum Ferguson and Michael Hussey steered the tourists home.
England must now win all of the remaining matches to win the series, starting with the clash at Lord's on Saturday.
