(CNN) -- Inter Milan coach Jose Mourinho says he may yet move for Chelsea's Didier Drogba and Jermaine Jenas of Tottenham in the January transfer window.

Mourinho has expressed a public interest in both Drogba and Jenas to bolster his Inter squad.

Mourinho has expressed a public interest in both Drogba and Jenas to bolster his Inter squad.

Inter went into this weekend's 20th round of Serie A matches with a three-point lead over Juventus, but lost 3-1 at Atalanta last Sunday to give Juve and arch-rivals AC Milan added hope.

Former Chelsea manager Mourinho is believed to be satisfied with his current squad, but is long an admirer of his former star striker Drogba, who has suffered a loss of form this season and fallen out of favor at Stamford Bridge.

Englalnd international Jenas has been sidelined through injury but Mourinho would have been acquainted with him during his spell in the Premier League.

"Jermaine Jenas and Didier Drogba - these are both players that I like," Mourinho wrote in Saturday's Daily Telegraph.

"Drogba is a very special player for me, there is no doubt about it.

"We had a great relationship at Chelsea and he was an important player for me.

"Will something happen? I don't know."

Mourinho hinted he may be prepared to trade members of the Inter squad to Tottenham, who are struggling in the lower reaches of the Premier League, to get target Jenas.

"If it is true that Tottenham have some targets in the Inter squad, then why not?

"Maybe then there is a possibility of doing a swap. But everything is harder in January and I don't think Inter will go into the market," he added.
