(CNN) -- Barcelona edged closer to lifting the Primera Liga title after defeating Recreativo Huelva 2-0 at the Nou Camp to open-up a nine-point lead over Real Madrid, although the defending Spanish champions restord their six-point defecit on Sunday with their own 2-0 victory over Valladolid.

Andres Iniesta scored after just 46 seconds as Barcelona cruised to a 2-0 victory.
Following-on from their 4-0 Champions League crushing of Bayern Munich in midweek, Pep Guardiola's Barca side never got out of second gear courtesy of a first-minute Andres Iniesta strike and an own goal from Nasief Morris.
Barca went ahead after just 46 seconds when Thierry Henry got free on the left and his cut-back was slotted home by Iniesta.
Then, just before the interval, a sliding Morris diverted Iniesta's cross into his own net to complete the victory.

The home side should have added to their tally late on, but Argentine maestro Lionel Messi missed from the penalty spot.
Meanwhile, Juande Ramos' Madrid side remain in touch with the leaders after a comfortable win over Valladolid courtesy of goals from Raul Gonzalez (43) and Arjen Robben (81).
