(CNN) -- Manchester City duo Elano and Robinho are among five British-based players named in the Brazil squad for the forthcoming World Cup qualifiers and the Confederations Cup.

Robinho is among five British-based players in Brazil's 23-man squad for their June matches.
Dunga's side are playing Uruguay and Paraguay, on June 6 and 10, in the South American World Cup Qualifying Zone before flying to South Africa to compete in the Confederations Cup from June 14 to 28.
Elano and Robinho are joined in the 23-strong party by Tottenham goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes, Chelsea defender Alex and Manchester United midfielder Anderson.
The most high-profile absentees are AC Milan midfielder Ronaldinho and Corinthians striker Ronaldo, who have both been overlooked.
Dunga told Press Association Sport: "The national team always have high-quality players and it is all up to the coach. We look at a number of factors to make a decision."
