(CNN) -- Juventus maintained their fierce pace at the top of Serie A with a 2-0 home win over Livorno in Turin on Saturday night.

Juventus celebrate Iaquinta's early opener in Turin.

Juve were missing several regular starters as they completed a fourth straight win from the start of the season to top the Italian standings.

Genoa and Sampdoria, who play on Sunday, can join them on 12 points with victories.

Champions Inter, who have seven points from three games, visit Cagliari, but there is growing belief that Juventus can challenge them for the title this season.

Vincenzo Iaquinta gave them the lead against lowly Livorno as he headed home Mauro Camoranesi's cross after just eight minutes.

Camoranesi was involved again as they doubled their lead as he played in Claudio Marchisio, who scored neatly.

Livorno found Gianluigi Buffon in fine form in the Juve goal as they pressed for a way back into the match and Juve held on for three points.

In the day's other game Napoli and Udinese played out a 0-0 draw in Naples.

In France, Bordeaux, who drew 1-1 with Juventus in the Champions League in midweek, went two points clear with a 2-0 win at promoted Boulogne-sur-Mer.

Yoan Gouffran opened the scoring in the 34th minute after heading in a David Bellion corner.

Boulogne defender Yoann Lachor headed into his own net in the 70th minute as defending champions Bordeaux won the 16th of their last 17 league games.

Marseille are two points behind Bordeaux in second place after thrashing Montpellier 4-2. Lyon play on Sunday and can reclaim second place with victory over Paris St Germain.
