(CNN) -- With qualification over and all 32 teams confirmed, anticipation is now building towards the big event itself: the 2010 World Cup finals in South Africa.

When the first game kicks off on June 11 it will mark a month-long festival of football that will be watched by billions around the globe.

And for a clutch of the beautiful game's biggest names it also represents their last chance to shine on the biggest stage of all.

For David Beckham, Didier Drogba, Deco, Thierry Henry, Fabio Cannavaro, Miroslav Klose and perhaps even Ronaldinho the tournament represents a final opportunity to write their name in World Cup folklore and create memories that will be talked about forever.

Here, Football Fanzone picks ten stars who we don't think will be around when the show rolls on to Brazil in 2014.
