Trevor Ncube is one of southern Africa's most powerful publishers. His media empire spans Zimbabwe and South Africa, where he owns newspapers, printing presses and distribution networks, and he's now looking to expand his business further into Africa.

"We want to represent the underdog. We want to be, to some extent, the voice of the voiceless," he told CNN.
A self-confessed idealist, Ncube believes in the power of the press to change and influence society for the good. After years of restrictive press laws and harassment of the media, he believes the time is now right to launch a new newspaper in Zimbabwe.
