(CNN) -- A suicide attack outside of Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan injured three American civilian contractors Wednesday, the U.S. military said.

The three were being treated at the base, but their conditions were not available.

There were no reports of injury or death among NATO or U.S. military forces or Afghan civilians.

Meanwhile a roadside bomb killed three Canadian soldiers during a patrol in southern Afghanistan, Canadian forces said in a statement on Wednesday.

Canadian soldiers have been operating in Kandahar province during the Afghan war and

"Members of Task Force Kandahar are committed to improving security and increasing development in Kandahar Province. We are all thinking of the family and friends of our fallen comrades during this sad time, but are determined to continue working with our Afghan and international partners towards a better future for the people of Afghanistan," Canadian forces said.
