(CNN) -- Three Americans, including two from the International Security Assistance Force, have been killed in Afghanistan, the NATO-led force said Saturday.
It said one U.S. service member with the ISAF was killed by an improvised explosive device Friday in southern Afghanistan.
In a separate incident, an ISAF service member and a civilian contractor, both Americans, were killed by an improvised explosive device in eastern Afghanistan, ISAF said. It was not immediately clear when the second incident occurred.
No further details were immediately available.
