Pope Benedict XVI will visit the earthquake-ravaged town of L'Aquila on April 28 -- three weeks after the disaster struck -- the Vatican said Saturday.

The pope plans to meet with victims and visit the tent city housing displaced families in the nearby village of Onna.

He also will survey surrounding areas hit by the magnitude-6.3 temblor, the Vatican said. Read full article »
