JERUSALEM (CNN) -- Investigators have ruled out a report that an Israeli soldier was kidnapped earlier Thursday, the Israel Defense Forces said.

Israel Defense Forces and Israeli police received a report around noon that a soldier reported seeing two civilians "who forced a soldier into their car" near an air force base adjacent to Ben Gurion International Airport, Defense Forces said.

Security forces set up dozens of roadblocks in the greater Tel Aviv area after the report, backing up traffic.
