Accra, Ghana (CNN) -- Vuvuzelas, drums, trumpets and fans adorned in an array of colorful hats, flags and football shirts. As Africa's last team standing in Africa's first World Cup, Ghanaian fans know they are shouldering the hopes and dreams of the continent.
Gathered around video-projectors, small TVs and radios, the country has come to a standstill as Ghana faces off against the USA.
"I'm so excited -- so excited! I know that Ghana will win it!" shouts Daniel Boateng over the noise of the vuvuzelas.
"We will win -- 0-1! I'm feeling just fine about it," shouted Peter Iffong.
At one make-shift viewing center in a local car-park, hundreds of fans are gathered in the dark, their shouting faces illuminated by the brightness of the screen -- whistling, shouting, screaming.
