(CNN) -- Lazio are back on top of the Italian Serie A table after goals from Hernanes and Sergio Floccari gave them a 2-0 win at Bari on Sunday.

Brazilian Hernanes put the visitors ahead seven minutes after the interval after he slotted Stefano Mauri's pass through goalkeeper Jean-Francois Gillet's legs.

And they doubled their advantage soon after when Mauri's mis-hit shot struck the knee of Floccari to loop into the net.

Jose Ignacio Castillo headed against the post for the home side with 10 minutes remaining but the Roman side held on to lead the way by two points.

AC Milan, who beat Chievo 3-1 on Saturday, remain second, just ahead of city rivals Inter on goal difference.

Champions Inter drew level with their rivals after Samuel Eto'o scored the only goal in a 1-0 victory at Cagliari.

The match was held up for three minutes after what appeared to be racist chants aimed at Eto'o, but the striker had the last word with a brilliant 39th-minute goal.

The Cameroon international produced a superb piece of skill to control the ball in the air and wrong-foot a defender, before placing his shot inside the post for his 12th goal of the season.

Napoli lie fourth after a 1-1 draw at Catania, while Juventus and Palermo are fifth and sixth after both teams hit four on Sunday.

Alberto Aquilani, Felipe Melo, Fabio Quagliarella and Alessandro Del Piero scored in Juve's 4-0 defeat of Lecce, while the Sicilian side are up to sixth place after defeating Bologna 4-1.
