Los Angeles, California (CNN) -- A threatening call forced the delay of a Hawaiian Airlines flight out of Los Angeles, an airline spokesman said early Friday.

The Boeing 767 had 225 people onboard.

It was bound for Honolulu on Thursday evening, but was delayed for two hours, according to spokesman Keoni Wagner. Authorities searched the plane and re-screened passengers, and found no credible threat, he said.

No more information was immediately available.
