Islamabad, Pakistan (CNN) -- Unmanned U.S. aircraft fired two missiles on a house in Pakistan's tribal belt, killing five suspected militants, officials said Wednesday.

The drone attack occurred Tuesday night in the Tappi area of North Waziristan, one of the seven districts of Pakistan's troubled tribal region bordering Afghanistan.

More than 20 such strikes have occurred in the area this year, according to a CNN count.

Meanwhile, in the Khyber district, extremists attacked a military camp with rockets and a suicide vehicle, killing five soldiers and 20 suspected militants. Fifteen others were injured.

The bomb-laden vehicle blew up at the gate of Jhansi Fort in the area of Bara after security forces opened fire, officials said.
