(CNN) -- An explosion at a fireworks factory in northeast China killed at least 19 people Monday, the official Xinhua news agency reported.
Five people remained missing Tuesday as searchers combed through the smoldering debris of the building, photos showed.
Another 153 people were injured in the blast, according to Xinhua.
The explosion occurred Monday morning in Yichun City in Heilongjiang Province, Xinhua reported.
