(CNN) -- A suspected drone strike killed eight people in northwest Pakistan on Sunday, two intelligence officials said.
The eight were suspected militants, according to the Pakistani officials.
Three to four missiles appear to have been fired on a house in Shoh subdivision of North Waziristan, the officials said.
They did not want to be named because they are not authorized to speak to the media.
The United States does not officially comment on suspected drone strikes. But it is the only country operating in the region known to have the ability to launch missiles from drones, which are controlled remotely.
